Here is a 1860’s vintage washstand. This was painting with Dijon Real Milk Paint right over the old surface. No sanding or cleaning was done. No Ultra bond added to the paint. Just painted straight from the can with two coats. It was then sealed with Dead Flat Finishing Cream. The original lions head hardware was cleaned and sealed with Soapstone Sealer and Wood Wax. Turned out Awesome, love it!!
